These mini-workshops are designed to get you moving towards wellness - literally! Join me at a local walking trail and enjoy an hour and a half of fresh air, activity, companionship and knowledge-sharing about a different topic each week - all focusing on wellness, healthy living and staying active!
Kids are welcome (strollers or carriers are recommended for little legs), but please no bicycles. I also kindly request that you please leave pets at home. I cannot guarantee that trails will be animal friendly.

Spring Cleaning for Body and Mind: How to kick start new habits!
Location: Start at Avery's in Greenwood (619 Central Ave, Greenwood, NS B0P 1N0). Please park in the centre stalls, or towards the back of the commercial
buildings.
Distance: Approximately 4.5 km
Note: There are some roots and loose sand. This walk is jogging-stroller friendly, but please no umbrella or street only strollers.

Location: Start at Greenwood Post Office, 13 Ward Street, Greenwood, B0P 1N0
Distance: Approximately 4.5 km
Note: This walk is mostly on wide path, gravel road and sidewalk. There is a small section on a sandy path that is wide enough for a double stroller.

Location: Annapolis County Rail Trail (parking lot at 2424 Old Mill Rd; just south of Station Rd).
Distance: Out and back. We'll see how we feel!
Note: This is a wide, well maintained gravel trail. There may be occasional ATV traffic, but weekday mornings are usually quiet.

It's a Family (or Friend) Affair: How to engage your loved ones in pursuit of collective success.
Location: Park at the Church of Latter Days Saints, which is on the South side of NS-201W (Central Ave), 1.5 km West of Avery's Farm Market (636 Central Ave.)
Note: This pathway system has some roots, rocks and narrow spots.

Our walks will be slow-to-moderately paced. We will have plenty of opportunities to regroup and discuss our topic of the day. This program is not designed to be a "workout". Rather, this is an opportunity to invest time and energy into wellness, meet fantastic new people, and connect with your love of physical movement, nature, and self-awareness.
